Position Description
The Registrar is responsible for maintaining a wide variety of student and school records with accuracy and a high degree of accountability. Under the guidance of the Assistant Headmaster of Operations, the Registrar carries out the following duties:
- Maintains accurate daily student attendance data in the schools Student Information System (Ascender/TxEIS)
- Manages student records requests through the Texas Records Exchange (TREx)
- Prepares daily, weekly, and 6 week attendance reports for internal tracking and state reporting
- Ensures accuracy of all student data for PEIMS reports
- Assists the Chief Operating Officer in preparing PEIMS data submissions through TSDS
- Maintains student transcripts, grade reports, and other academic records
- Prepares academic reports for school leadership and families
- Works closely with the Office Coordinator to answer parent phone calls and respond to emails
- Assists Office Coordinator in the new student enrollment process
- Creates school calendars, student/teacher schedules, and other schedules in collaboration with the Office Coordinator
- Assists Valor school leadership as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficiency in Spanish (speaking and writing) is preferred but not required for consideration
